Anne
has been in the Financial Services Industry since 1977. She has been involved
with Financial Planning since 1984.
Anne's credentials are solid: In addition to a B.A. in Economics, her professional
designations include Registered Financial Planner (R.F.P), Certified Financial
Planner Licensee (CFP) and Chartered Financial Planner. Anne has completed the
Canadian Securities Course, as well as the Professional Financial Planners Course.
Anne's background with major chartered banks and trust companies led her to
a manager's position in a major international accounting firm's financial planning
group. She has proven skills in assisting individuals to achieve their financial
goals and objectives.
Anne ran her own successful financial consulting practice in Edmonton, Alberta
where she also contributed a local newspaper's financial column. Anne has
been providing her services as a successful financial consultant in Vancouver
and the lower mainland since 1994.
She is also a member the Institute of Advanced Financial Planners, Advocis (formerly
a long standing member of the Canadian Association of Financial Planners) and
is a licensee with the Financial Planning Standards Council of Canada.
Her community work has included five years of service as CO-Chairperson and
Secretary Treasurer for A.W.A.R.E. (Assisting With Awareness Regarding Employment);
three years volunteering on the review Committee for the Self Employment program
with Human Resource Development Canada and several years as Rep Softball Coordinator
for Minor Softball.
